Seventh ranked Notre Dame women’s basketball hits the road tonight for the third time in four games, with an ACC matchup at Clemson. The Irish are rolling along well at 14-and-2, 7-and-1 in conference play, behind consistently solid performances from point guard Olivia Miles and forward Maddy Westbeld. Sean Stires calls the game starting at 6:45 tonight on our sister station Live 99.9.

Notre Dame’s complete 20-23 football schedule is out, and there are a couple of quirks this year. The season opener against Navy August 26th will be in Dublin, Ireland, before the Irish play their home opener September 2nd against Tennessee State. That’s followed by a trip to North Carolina State ahead on another home game September 16th against Central Michigan. The meat of the schedule follows, with Ohio State repaying last year’s visit to Columbus at Notre Dame Stadium September 23rd. The Irish then visit Duke and Louisville before USC and Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams come to town October 14th. After a bye week, Pittsburgh is in South Bend October 28th, and the Irish head to Clemson November 4th. The second bye week follows, and the regular season wraps with a home game against Wake Forest November 18th, and the finale at Stanford November 25th.

Notre Dame hockey has a two game Big Ten weekend series at Penn State this week. Game one is Friday at 6:30, game two Saturday at 5, both covered by Darin Pritchitt on our sister station Quality Rock Z 94-3.

In the NHL tonight, the Chicago Blackhawks are at Philadelphia, and the Detroit Redwings play at Las Vegas.

Big Ten basketball tonight has Michigan State hosting 23rd ranked Rutgers at 6:30 on FS1, followed by Indiana at Illinois. 3rd ranked Purdue plays at Minnesota at 7pm on ESPN2, and Michigan is at Maryland at 7 on ESPN.

NBA: the Indiana Pacers won at Oklahoma City, 124-98. The Chicago Bulls are at Detroit tonight.
