SOUTH BEND – Number 1! It's the first time the Irish football team has been able to say that in 19 years.
This is also the first time ever the Irish can claim to be number 1 in the BCS poll.
And some fans are already making travel plans in case that National Championship game in Miami becomes a reality.
It may be a little premature or you could just say these fans have confidence and faith in their team.
A Florida vacation and bowl game doesn't sound too shabby, especially when you could be playing for the national title.
The phone at Anthony Travel in Mishawaka didn't stop ringing on Monday.
"They're asking about USC; they're asking about Miami," said Jacqueline Kronk with Anthony Travel at Notre Dame.
Irish fans want tickets.
"We're literally getting hundreds of e-mails an hour," she said.
Fans are even asking about tickets for a game that's not decided yet – the National Championship in Miami.
Fingers crossed this could be the year.
"We have a great opportunity to win this year," said Irish fan Randy Best of Dallas.
Best says one can never be too prepared. That's why he's already in here, curious about ticket options.
"My daughter said, 'Go to Anthony Travel and find out what's going on,'" Best said.
From tickets to travel packages to transportation, Anthony Travel said once it's final, bowl game information will be released. Until then, you just have to wait it out until this weekend's battle against USC is over.

"Go to our website, submit their e-mail and we'll notify them as soon as packages become available," Kronk said.
