The 25th Annual Elkhart Jazz Fest begins with a free concert at 7:30 at Lerner Theater downtown.
More than 100 world-class entertainers will be performing live on six stages in the city.

Mishawaka's Summerfest starts Friday at Merrifield Park.
There will be arts and crafts booths along with food vendors and at night -- local and regional bands.
