ELKHART—
An autopsy completed Wednesday on the body of a 53-year-old man whose body was pulled from the Eklhart River Tuesday night revealed how he died.
Elkhart County Coroner John White told WSBT-TV Charles Wolfinger died from blunt force trauma to his head and chest.
Elkhart Fire Department's River Rescue Team helped pull Wolfinger's body from the river, in the 500 block of East Jackson Boulevard, around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Police continue their investigation into Wolfinger's death.
