Bourbon Police are sending the Marshall County Prosecutor's Office information on Friday night's pursuit of a speeding motorist, including an initial request for charges of reckless driving and resisting arrest.
Officer Mathew Haskins told WSBT Saturday the driver, Wayne Davis, was released from Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Haskins clocked Davis driving 71 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone on Lincoln Highway near Elm Road early Friday night. Haskins said Davis reached speeds between 110 and 115 miles per hour as he tried to flee.
A few minutes into the pursuit, Davis lost control of his vehicle and it rolled several times in the 10000 block of 14th Road.
