A body found in an Arvada, Colorado, park Wednesday night is that of missing 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway, Westminster police said Friday.

DNA tests were delayed because the body was not found "intact."

Jessica had last been seen walking on her way to school back on Oct. 5. Her backpack and water bottle were discovered a few miles from her home two days after her disappearance. Her dismembered body was found by workers Wednesday.

Police have ruled out Jessica's parents as possible suspects.

FBI profilers believe the murderer is a man who may have recently missed work or suddenly left town. The suspect may have already changed his appearance and abandoned his car. Invesetigators said the condition of Jessica's body could indicate an experience killer.
