Kosciusko County police have released the name of a man found dead in a vacant home.

40-year old Frankie Poe of Warsaw was arrested on suspicion of breaking into the vacant duplex on North Fort Wayne Avenue last night. He is being held as a “person of interest” in the case.

Police say they found 56-year old Randall Jones, who lives on Warsaw's Greenhill Drive, dead in the home. But they aren't saying if he was murdered.

An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon to determine how Jones died.

Warsaw Police are investigating the death of a 56 year old Warsaw man after a neighbor called police for a welfare check on an unresponsive male. At 7:34 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013, Warsaw Police responded to a vacant duplex located at 228 N. Fort Wayne Avenue and found the male on the steps. Multi-Township EMS responded and transported the male to KCH where he was pronounced dead. Release of the victim’s identification is being withheld pending notification of relatives. An autopsy is scheduled for today at the Northeast Forensic Center in Fort Wayne.

Early this morning, Frankie Lee Poe, 40 years old, of 704 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, IN., was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on preliminary charges of residential entry to the vacant duplex. He is being held on no bond and is a person of interest in the death investigation.

The case remains under investigation and autopsy results and any further investigation will be forwarded to the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
