Santa on a fire truck, a tree lighting ceremony, and fireworks! That's what's on the schedule for tonight's downtown South Bend Christmas celebration.
Santa is expected to make his grand entrance at 5:30. After lighting the tree at the Jon Hunt Plaza, he'll lead a parade down Michigan Street. Then the fireworks will start!
The parade will wrap up when the carriage drops Santa off in front of the College Football Hall of Fame. You can take free pictures with him with your own camera. There will also be games, cookies, and other activities at Santa's Workshop.
