SOUTH BEND -- Dozens braved the cold weather Monday afternoon to march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The traditional civil rights march started at the County-City Building in downtown South Bend ad ended at the Century Center.
About 75 people took part in a ceremony before the march.
South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg spoke, and the St. John's Church drill team performed to one of King's readings.
Buttigieg joined other city leaders like Councilwoman Karen White in the march.
Monday was the first time city offices were closed in honor of the holiday.
