Home detention and a suspended license -- that's what a Mishawaka man got after pleading guilty in the Elkhart County hit-and-run that killed a man back in June of 2012.
Kevin Meyer, 19, pleaded guilty to not stopping after an accident that resulted in death.
After the judge accepted a plea agreement, Meyer was sentenced Monday to three years in home detention and his license was suspended.
Meyer hit and killed 60-year-old Raymundo Sabag, who was riding his bike to work on County Road 17 south of the US 20 underpass. At the time, police said he had lights and reflectors on.
