It appears a man had luck on his side Friday night – receiving only minor injuries when his car collided with a train in New Carlisle.
This happened around 9:30 on Smilax Road between Lincolnway west and Edison Road.
Police say the man in the car was up and walking around when they got there.
The train has already departed.
No word yet on why the car was on the tracks.
