VANDALIA, Mich. – The Cass County Sheriff’s Department is turning to the public for help as police search for three people involved in a home invasion and armed robbery in Penn Township on New Year’s Eve.
Sheriff Joseph Underwood, Jr. says around 9:40 p.m., a man walked into his home in the 60000 block of White Temple Road and found two men in their late teens or early 20s had broken in the house.
The victim told investigators one of the suspects pointed a gun at him and tied him up. A number of items were stolen.
The men got away.
During their investigation, police found three suspects were involved in the crime.
The homeowner was not hurt.
