SOUTH BEND—
A 21-year-old man reportedly was shot while running away from a fight he was having with acquaintances in the 1300 block of Poland Street on Thursday night.The man said a verbal argument started at his home about 10:45 p.m. where several people threatened him, causing the victim to run because he was scared for his life, police said.
One of the men he got into a fight with reportedly jumped into a car and fired four or five shots from the vehicle.
One of the bullets grazed the victim's left thigh.
No arrests had been made as of Friday.
