ELKHART – Elkhart County police have identified the 54-year-old man who was found badly burned outside of a storage garage late Monday morning.
It happened around 11:15 a.m. at 58644 C.R. 111 near the Concord Mall in Elkhart.
The victim was Christopher Hinshaw of Elkhart.
Captain James Bradberry of the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department says the Sheriff’s Department is still working with the county coroner’s office and the State Fire Marshal to determine the cause of death and what started the fire.
Bradberry, though, said investigators are not pursuing any suspects.
