We now know the punishment of an Elkhart County man accused in a hit-and-run that badly injured a teenager.
Pasquale Rulli, 26, has been sentenced to a year and a half suspended sentence, a year and a half community corrections, and 120 hours of community service. His driver’s license will be suspended for three and a half years.
In January he pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious injury -- a felony. Zion Carlstrom suffered serious head, arm and leg injuries when she was hit riding her bike last summer near Middlebury.
She is recovering and hopes to graduate in the spring with her senior class.
