MIDDLEBURY – A semi collided with a buggy Tuesday, but a 74-year-old woman inside the buggy escaped serious injury.
The accident happened around 3:20 p.m. at U.S. 20 east of County Road 43 in front of Indiana Wood Products southeast of Middlebury.
The woman inside the buggy was taken to the hospital, but Capt. Jim Bradbury of the Elkhart County Sheriff's Dept. told WSBT the injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.
Bradbury said a news release with the details of the crash would later be released.
