While Isaac no longer packs a punch with the winds, the storm is still expected to dump lots of rain across a handful of states over the weekend.

During Friday the main area of heavy rain is through Missouri and into southern and central Illinois. Here in northern Indiana and southwestern lower Michigan we should start to see an increase in the clouds by late Friday and early Saturday morning.

While there is a slight chance of a few showers Friday night and early Saturday most of the region will remain dry until Saturday afternoon and evening.  Rain showers could continue through Sunday and into Monday morning if the track stays consistent.  A small variance in the track of the storm though could drastically change the areas that see light to moderate rainfall and those areas that could get flooding.

The last few computer runs, though, show the heaviest swath of rain at near 7+ inches and falling in central Illinois and Indiana.  Rainfall estimates for northern Indiana range from 0.5" to 1.5".

The exact track is still uncertain but plan for rain showers beginning Saturday afternoon into Monday.  Along with the moisture, though, temperatures should still remain warm with highs in the low 80s.
